I'm so blessed to have been able to spend Valentine's Day with the loves of my life.

And Peter spoiled me with surprises and dinner when I got home from work. I love that guy.

The past few weeks have been a lot of fun because the girls are growing up so fast. They even finally started getting teeth. They both have one little tooth coming in on the bottom. Lizzy loves to see how long she can balance on her feet all by herself and Robby walks back and forth on anything she can pull herself up on. They've discovered the windows in the kitchen and they love looking outside. I can't wait for warm weather so that I can take them out to play.

The girls already love their little cousin Taegan Louise, it will be fun to watch them grow up together.

And We're so excited to welcome baby Henry Clyn Hill into the family. Congratulations Sam and Kara! He is so sweet!

9 months old!

My beautiful baby girls are 9 months old!

A very common phrase we hear when we go out is "Twins? You must have your hands full." Actually, I think I hear that from somebody at least once everytime I go out with the girls... and it's true. But we wouldn't have it any other way. Some days are a little more challenging than others, but the rewards outweigh everything.





Elizabeth Pearl is our laughing, little thinker. She likes to investigate things before putting them in her mouth or crawling towards it. She wants to make sure it's worth the effort :) She is becoming more and more adventurous as she sees all the fun her sister has making messes and getting into trouble. It was nice having one quiet and content baby while it lasted...

Robyn Rae is our eager, silly little girl. If she sees something she wants her eyes get big and there is no stopping her, even if her sister is already playing with it. Robyn has already had her fair share of bruises as she explores new parts of the house and I'm sure there are plenty more to come.

We have a lot of fun with our little babes, and they have a lot of fun with each other. Whether they are pulling hair, stealing binkies, laughing, or playing together, there is never a dull moment with these little angels.

holiday and new year recap

A lot has happened in the past couple of months - the girls learning lots and getting cuter everyday being among those things... I think the best way to recap will be through lots of pictures and brief commentary.

Thanksgiving

The girls had a lot of fun on Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa Hill's house. They got to try lots of new foods... even some that weren't parent approved.

Bath Time

Bath time is quickly becoming one of their favorite things to do.

I love my silly girls

7 months and oh so cute!

My babes are already 7 months old and it amazes me how much they have grown and what they have learned to do in just the past couple of months.

This is a month late, but I loved their Halloween costumes.

My little thing 1 and thing 2 always make me smile.

Lizzy and Robby have been busy rolling around, sitting up, and they love to make each other laugh. One of my most favorite things right now is seeing the looks on their faces when they spot each other from across the blanket; their eyes light up, they get huge smiles on their precious little faces, and they start to giggle.

The girls have had fun watching their little cousin Taegan grow as Auntie Min's tummy gets bigger and bigger :)

Peter and I are enjoying every moment we have with our little angels. They bring so much joy to our lives. Peter is busy with work and school, but he always finds time to play with his girls.

5 months

My little baby girls are already 5 months old, it's crazy. They are constantly smiling and giggling, and I love every minute of it.

 Lizzy is starting to roll around but poor little Robby has to lay between two rice sacks so that she faces to the right (she was having problems with a tight muscle). But she is getting better and pretty soon she'll be rolling around with her sister.

My baby girls are are getting bigger and changing everyday, and I love them more and more ever minute.

it's dubois

Over Labor Day weekend we went up to a little Wyoming town called Dubois for Ashley's baby Rowan's blessing. They recently moved their from Wisconsin because Aric (her hubby) got a teaching job at the high school. It's great to have them closer and we had a great weekend. My favorite part was probably feeding the girls with Ashley while she fed Rowan. It gave us a lot of time to talk. Here was our weekend in pictures:

Saturday night we celebrated Sharlotte's birthday. It was our first experience being in the cold with the girls, so we had to keep them pretty bundled up.

 Ashley was showing off Shar's new hat and her beautiful baby boy.

 The girls and Rowan had some bonding time too. He's almost two months younger, but I think he's going to catch up to them pretty quick!

 Okay, so this is pretty cool. There is a giant jackalope right across the street from Ashley.

Crazy.

On our way home we stopped in the Tetons for a picnic. It was a gorgeous day and felt great to be outside.

 

 Robby and Lizzy loved being outside too.

For our first long road trip with the girls they did pretty good. On the way up they only had to stop once, but on the way back they were done being in the car and we had to stop a lot more often. Poor girls... but we made it home eventually and our happy babies were super smiley and glad to be home.
